Michele has worked at the hotel for 17 years having started as a Room Assistant and worked her way up to
Head Housekeeper - a role she has held for 6 years.
What do you enjoy about working for Macdonald Hotels & Resorts?
No two hotels in the group are the same so whilst you're part of a large company, you also feel part
of a small team working in this very individual property. The corporate bedroom standards were developed
at the Compleat Angler and I enjoyed the experience of working in the development team.
Whats your key to success as Head Housekeeper?
It's all about communication and working as part of a team. I've done the job myself so I
have respect for my room assistants. It's important to work with them so I'm very 'hands on' and I
listen to any ideas they have that will help us achieve the Macdonald standards.
