| | | Job Description | Macdonald Linden Hall, Golf & Country Club has an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist.
Set in 450 acres of park and woodland in the heart of rural Northumberland, the hotel offers peaceful surroundings, a warm and friendly atmosphere, a country pub and championship golf course.
The hotel also offers spa and leisure facilities including a swimming pool, sauna and steam room. The Dobson Restaurant with 2 AA Rosettes, serves regional and international cuisine. We have 5 conference suites and 50 bedrooms.

Your friendly personality is certain to make the process of receiving and registering guests a pleasurable experience for everyone involved. Your excellent organisational skills will mean that all relevant documentation will be carried out efficiently.
This is a great opportunity for either an experienced receptionist – preferably Fidelio trained - to progress their career, or for someone with no previous experience, who has a genuine desire to work within the hospitality industry in a frontline role.
The role will involve assisting with many and varied guest requirements from check-in to check-out, answering the telephone and taking reservations ensuring excellent guest service at all times.
You'll be well presented and have excellent customer and communication skills with a good command of spoken English. You'll also be able to work as part of a team as well as showing your own initiative whilst displaying exceptional standards of customer care at all times.
