| | | Job Description | Join the Chefs Brigade at Macdonald Old England Hotel and Spa. Please be aware that this is a seasonal vacancy.
If you're willing to learn, work conscientiously and are committed to high standards, our kitchen is the ideal place in which to develop your skills.
You'll be able to work on your own initiative, display a pleasant, courteous manner and have a positive attitude.
You will be NVQ (SVQ) Level 1qualified, have an elementary food hygiene certificate and have a good level of English. The right candidate will be a valued member of a close-knit, quality-focused team, preparing imaginative food whilst ensuring a clean, safe and tidy environment at all times.
You should be able to work as part of a team as well as showing your own initiative. A passion for food is a must and you should be able to inspire others with your flair and individuality with an awareness of the standards required in rosette level restaurants.
