| | | Job Description | A vacancy has arisen with the Old England Hotel, Bowness on Windermere.
The Breakfast Chef is responsible for the most important meal of the day, ensuring that it's prepared to our exceptionally high standards. Being part of the Chef Brigade means being a real team player. Responsible for all aspects of our very busy breakfast operation, you'll be creative, inspirational and love food to ensure that our guests leave the hotel with a lasting impression of the high quality breakfast provided.
At Macdonald Hotels our breakfast is plated individually and as such, the service is more intricate and requires someone with a flair for presentation as well as cooking ability.
Consistency is critical - from preparation to presentation. You must be able to thrive under pressure and ensure our guests leave the hotel with a lasting impression of the high quality breakfast provided.
Able to work on your own or part of a professional team you will be highly motivated and able to work under pressure to maintain consistent high levels of quality both on the breakfast buffet and on our cooked breakfast dishes.
Previous experience in this role is essential preferably in the four/five star market.
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK. This vacancy is full time you will be working from 6.30am until midday 5-6 days a week, and remaining hours helping with prep.
