Macdonald Hotels make every effort to comply with our obligations under the 1998 Data Protection Act. Additionally, we understand the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of your profile and other information you may give us while using the site. We will not pass on or disclose your details to any third party outside of the Macdonald Hotels Group Ltd, for any purpose.

Registration details
Contact and other details you supply as part of the registration process are stored by us and used to provide you with the information you have requested.

Online applications and candidate profiles
When you apply online we automatically store the information you provide in our candidate profile database. You can update your profile at any time, by accessing your password protected ‘My Account’ section on the site.

We rely on you to ensure that your profile is kept up to date. After six months we will contact you by e-mail and ask you to update your profile. If you do not reply or do not update it we will delete your profile from our database.

You can request removal of your profile from our database at any time by sending an email to recruitment@macdonald-hotels.co.uk stating your full name and address.

Macdonald Hotels reserves the right to remove from our database profiles which include any content that we consider to be illegal or offensive.

Cookies
Cookies are used to identify your computer when you access the web site, providing you with a convenient means of access. You can only register with us - to apply online, set up email alerts and submit your profile - if you accept cookies. The information we gather by use of cookies does not include personally identifying information.

Statistical information
Aggregate statistical information provided by us to others regarding web site usage will not include personally identifying information.

Access to Data
You have the right to be told what personal information we hold about you on our databases. You should write to the System Administrator, c/o Central Offices, The Berystede Hotel, Bagshot Road, Sunninghill, Ascot, Berkshire SL5 9JH, stating your full name and contact details and enclosing a cheque for £10 made payable to Macdonald Hotels Ltd .
