18 months

When does the scheme start?
In September

Is there an age limit?
There is no age limit.

Do you have to be a recent graduate?
No. We receive applications from recent graduates, those in their final year and graduates who have worked in hospitality for some years.

Where will I be based?
We ask candidates about their geographical preference at the first stage of the recruitment process and if successful, we try to ‘marry’ your preference with our business need. Flexibility in location is a benefit.

Can I work abroad?
All our hotels are based in the UK. Some of our Resorts are based in Spain but they don’t participate in our graduate scheme.

Do you provide live-in accommodation?
No we expect graduates to live out. We will give you advice on finding accommodation nearby particularly if you’re relocating to join us.

When do you recruit?
Applications are accepted January – February.

Will I get to meet other graduates on the scheme?
Yes – at the corporate induction in September and at off the job training through the scheme.

Will I undertake project work?
Yes - graduates undertake project work at their hotel and on a group basis.

Will I have a mentor?
Yes all graduates are assigned a mentor to ‘bounce’ ideas off, to gain a different insight into the business and to turn to for advice.

What happens at the end of the scheme?
2-3 months before the end of the scheme, you should be talking to your line manager and mentor about where you want to take your career. Graduates should be aiming to take up a position as a supervisor or Head of Department and you need to identify vacancies around the company.
